Fave Mom Made Biz #4- StripedShirt Giveaway!

I have a new fave, and it’s StripedShirt.com. I wish I could remember how I stumbled upon the blog of The Colorado Mountain Mom, because I’d really like to thank that person. Not only did I discover a cute new blog and meet its lovely owner, but I also discovered these absolutely fantastic shirts through a giveaway she was hosting. I should mention I ended up winning it- which is how THIS review and giveaway came to be- since when I received my shirt I was so blown away I had to have one for you guys.

Let me first start by saying that these aren’t your average sport team t-shirts. They’re very nice- from the quality of the material- to the classy little striped t emblem at the bottom. The shirts have a nice round neck and the length is fantastic for moms. As her site promises ‘No muffin tops here!’ You’re covered! The shirts are long and lean and hit right at the bottom of my hip. It is NOT a boxy man t- shirt. Nope. These are made for our curves. Here is the Cranberry & Gray which is what I chose.

And here it is in action with my favorite almost-three-year-old (note we are wearing long sleeved white t’s underneath)

We wore them to a birthday party today at a very busy inflatable/bounce house type place and I received some pretty nice compliments on them. Besides that- it was pretty easy to pick out my hooligan among the throng of running and jumping hooligans just at a quick glance. I mean, all I had to do was look for my twin. If you’re thinking this is silly, it’s so brief in the lives of your children that you can do cute things like wear matching shirts. It may look a little strange if you’re dressing alike once they’re in college..so I’m just sayin’- DO IT NOW. I highly encourage you to check out the action shots on her site- they’re awesome.

These will make a perfect and unique gift for that new mom who has just about everything, or a second or third timer that is being polite and refusing all offers of a baby shower.
