Bunnie Knitwear- Review & Promo Code

Dear Friends and Grandma:

I’m not cheating on you! I promise. There’s enough love for all of the knits in the world! But yes. I admit that I do indeed have a crush.

It’s still not exactly warm here. I’m tired of the hats, coats and mittens that I am dressing the boys up in on a daily basis. I don’t mind a sweet sweater or vest- but as for coats I am done. Over and done with them for the year. Since we are approaching 50-ish degrees here (in farenheit I still can’t grasp the Celsius conversion) it’s *almost* time I can put the coats away and use just a sweater instead.

First and foremost I need to come clean and say I cannot knit to save my life. I tried. Really I did. But I have several extremely talented friends who knit- as well as Grandma happens to be a world-class knitter. I don’t want to compete with them so I leave the knitting to people who do it best. Recently I discovered Bunnie Knitwear who happens to be one of those people- children’s knitwear handmade in England by a lovely great-grandmother. Great-grandma does the knitting and her granddaughter Jade does the behind the scenes work. This is my kind of company.

The quality on this cardigan is that of something you would buy in an exclusive store- but better. One thing that I like the best about her cardigan is how SOFT it is. All knits use Sirdar Supersoft Aran wool which I promise is as cozy on the skin of your little one as it looks. We were sent this one to check out and see if it passed the test with Chase:

The hood kills me, and the classic wooden buttons give our sophisticated little guy a grown up look. I am sensing a preppy style as he gets older. That or perhaps a fisherman? Either way, I really like this cardigan with hood (£40.00). She also has adorable hat and sweater sets for girls, but I’m biased so you’ll have to click over yourself.

I’m now eyeing this spring sweater with no sleeves and a hood that I found on her Facebook page. I am pretty sure that we could probably get away with wearing this all spring AND summer here:

Because in my world: Those who can, knit. Those who can’t buy from sweet English great-grandmothers.

Check out Bunnie Knitwear on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @jadealanamarshall.

And for you guys I have a 20% off code to get you started! She ships world-wide too for you Americans over there. The promo code “ThreeUnder” is good until June 30th!

Thank you so much Mary & Jade- you do lovely work with Bunnie Knitwear and I am so happy to have found you.

Disclosure- I was sent the grey hooded cardigan for the purpose of review.
