536622_391411444216392_2071126255_nWhen the boys were little we loved sleep sacks. Additionally, the twins still use comfort blankets on the cusp of 3 years old during naps and bedtime. I see the value in quality sleep bedding for our kids for sure, so when I was contacted by Roel (a native Dutchman) about his company Zizzz and their products, I really wanted to share them with you guys. The Swiss really know what they’re doing when it comes to just about everything- why not cozy sleeping bags too?

Zizzz sleeping bags

Meet Zizzz:

High quality sleeping bags and blankets filled with Swisswool:

I love how Roel came up with the idea for Zizzz products with Swisswool- read this! It’s great:

We live in Switzerland and we love to ski. We use fine wool fabrics while skiing. This gave us an idea. It’s no secret that many skiers and athletes use wool because of its unique qualities in extreme weather conditions.Wool keeps you warm when it’s cold and cool when it’s hot. It also keeps your body dry when you exercise. Eureka! It would be the perfect solution for Carmen’s sleepless nights.

What is Swisswool you ask?

Swisswool is a patented natural filling material made out of 88% virgin Swiss wool and 12% vegetable fibres. It has all the unique characteristics of wool and it’s washable. We’re sure your baby will like it as much as ours does.

I love companies inspired by parents with their own children in mind. Sleep being especially important for our sweet kiddos- I hope you’ll find Zizzz products perfect for your own family too. Personally, I think these look downright cozy and wouldn’t mind one myself come winter.

In Co Cork, Ireland. Still perfecting our bedtime routine with our 14 wk old but its usually bath, bottle, book (goodnight moon is a family favorite) & to sleep in a sleep sack. Would love to give these a try. Our insulation isn’t great & winter is coming sooner than we’d like to admit.

Love your blog!

We live in Switzerland and our bedtime routine for our nine month old is pretty straightforward: bath, bottle, bed (in a schlafsack). These sleeping bags look super, I really hate how most of the ones out there are poly-filled when we really strive to use natural materials for our son with all his other clothes!

We have mastered bedtime routine thankfully….bath, potty, teeth brushing, book, song (twinkle twinkle is the favorite right now), night time prayers and our daughter is fast asleep! We used the sleep sacks when she was younger….these look awesome!

I live in Croatia – and my one year does not have a routine. Much to the disgust of many people… But I parent alone for 50% of the year and no two days are ever the same. So we just go with flow…

My husband and I live in Germany with our triplet boys. Our bedtime routine is pretty simple: clean diapers, pajamas, bedtime stories, bottles, and sweet kisses goodnight. <3

HOLY CUTENESS! USA yo! Bedtime routine will probably be the same as for the older girls. A little tubby, snuggle to get warm and jammied up, song or book and tucked in tight. I can’t wait for some newbies esp if they get to snuggle in these cuties!

OH and I know I can’t win I still wanted to participate. I picked a good day to visit! Those babies made my heart burn and sickness go away if only for a second!

I live in the US. I don’t have a bedtime routine, as I don’t have kids; I would like to win this for my brother and sister-in-law who are currently expecting.

We are in Waterford Ireland, and I currently nurse my little one to sleep and hope he sleeps all night in his rib, but end up co sleeping. Our house is like a fridge, especially in baby’s room. This would be awesome!!

Every evening I nurse my 2 kids (Elias 2 years and Nina 7 months)
in the parental bed. I sing them a song and keep the contact
until they fall asleep at the same time.
We live in Lausanne, Switzerland.

We’re expecting in December, and I’m certain our routine will involve nursing, cuddling, clean diaper, and bed in a sleep sack. I live in the Netherlands with my Dutch husband.

We live in the Netherlands with our son Philip who is two months old. We are trying very hard to stick to routine, but he can make it sometimes quite difficult to us 🙂 In general we try to keep it a bit “soft” in the evening (not too many interesting games) just cuddling, so he can calm down (he is quite energetic during the day). We start with a bath, which he loves, new diaper, baby massage (nothing too fancy, I’m not trained haha), bottle, swaddle and pray for him to sleep. Prayers are never listend to and most of the time we have a big drama with crying and so on. I just hope it’s a phase and he will learn how to fall asleep 🙂

We live in Germany and my 2 year old (still my baby) goes down at 8pm after his bath. He gives us all a kiss with a hug and he will climb in the crib by himself with his huge blanky. He has a warm bottle of milk and usually thats the end of it. He loves to snuggle with his 2-3 blankets before he falls asleep but usually doesnt take more then 10 minutes 🙂

27 Satu VW September 15, 2013 at 2:15 pm

Oh wow, I still made it! Saw this on Twitter and then forgot about it… So, we’re based in Norway and the bedtime routine for the 5-week old baby is, well, there isn’t one! He eats and sleeps all through the day. 🙂

With our toddler, she gets her dummy (not sure how she will ever give that up), bottle of warm milk, and a bedtime story. And then we kind of hope she stays in her bed for the night which happens rarely. And the I often struggle with a hungry baby and a toddler who wants cuddles in the middle of the night.

Still learning, we are!

This sleepsack would’ve been perfect on our roadtrip though, but I’m sure there’ll be many more to come! 🙂
